The Close Up Show Branding
Chris Wood is a specialist at close-up magic and he wanted to create a new concept in magic entertainment.
We developed a concept which we called the “Close up show”. This was based on our tried and tested concept, ‘magic roulette’ which Chris Wood had previously developed for the sell-out shows at the Magic Circle.
The concept of the show is three magicians, three tables and three 20 minute shows.
We developed his identity for the close up show, and developed some marketing material, brochures, posters flyers and pop up banners. These posters were designed to deliver a clear and striking image of magic entertainment and stay as far away as possible from the clichéd magic posters that lack style.
The close up show is now in its third year with weekly performances all throughout Kent and London and is a huge success.
