Luminis Modern Spa Chislehurst is a brand-new holistic wellness space set in the leafy Chislehurst community, specialising in bespoke treatments that align the mind, body, and spirit, based on the concept that wellness goes beyond skin deep. We were appointed by Eleanor of Luminis originally to refurbish one of her many existing clinics. However when an opportunity came up to have a new location in Chislehurst she jumped at it immediately and the new project commenced. We were appointed to take the existing shop and convert it into a new Luminis clinic while retaining as much of the existing elements as possible. Proud to have been a appointed to work on such a lovely project with a wonderful client who cares as much as we do about the quality of materials and attention to details. We designed and developed this stunning new shopfront signage and the interiors. We worked on the project closely from initial concept layouts and elevations material selections, specifications, lighting and small power plans to final implementation . The key was to take into consideration all the elements within the existing premises and try to retain as much as possible. The challenge was accepted and we reviewed, adjusted and redesigned what ever could be kept, adjusted, moved while also developing entirely new elements and features too such as the treatment areas, sauna room, feature retail window displays and signage. Walls were moved to increase the treatment rooms, the toilet was moved to offer both staff and customer services and the reception desk although retained was reduced and reworked to better suit the needs of the clinic. Not an easy task trying to match everything to the existing elements, but we achieved it nd it was a rewarding project indeed. If you haven’t gone in, do pop in and say hello or book a treatment.
