“A most charming house cloaked in greenery and offering extremely bright and airy living space”
Located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is this beautiful property, bright and airy with a stunning feature spiral staircase that leads to the roof terrace. Nugget design were appointed for a series of jobs ranging from site surveying, concept development, planning drawings and an all-round drawing package. A modern and contemporary theme was decided for this refurbishment. Defining areas such as the living area with feature elements such as the exposed brick wall with a sofa sat against it and a minimalistic style lamp to set the tone. Sourcing an appropriate material palette to deliver the intended theme was also a crucial part of the process.
The key to the success of this project was Nugget Design’s ability to think outside the box when confronted with the only access to the terrace being through a hatch in the master toilet. Nugget Design created several concepts for the client with the final selected route being the production of a stunning new box roof light and redesign of the terrace not only made the terrace more accessible but added huge value to the property. Nugget Design will always look to add value – both in monetary and design terms.
