Lee Valley White Water Rafting- The Terrace interior / exterior design
Lee Valley White Water Centre Café Bar is an existing café bar within the Olympic White Water Centre and was built recently to a functional but high specification. Now the site has been handed over for commercial use, it does not satisfy the general customer base that the centre attracts.
We worked with Brazenose on this project with the initial aim to offer a complete package of design work. We developed conceptual designs for the interior design as it needed to create a much warmer and welcoming environment that will make the customers feel at ease whilst enjoying a higher quality of food and drink. Our vision was to enable a longer stay period and more repeat custom. The aim was to design the café bar to feel part of the overall experience, rather than a practical add-on.
As for the exterior, we were appointed look at the planning, layout, mood, concept, development and specifications, giving the exterior a complete overhaul and creating a more friendly and welcoming and comfortable experience for both the rafters and visitors alike.
